Ancillary- Magazine advertisement

This was the first draft of my ancillary, I thought that the block black background made all of the images on the page look too super imposed which doesnt look good at all. I decided that I needed to change this and by doing so I created a gradient background from white to black.

 

The image to the left shows my final ancillary, I think that the gradient background looks alot better that the original draft. The advert shows the readers the dates
